PUBLISHED WORK

"An improvement in Indirect Binocular Ophthalmoscopy for Diabetic Retinopathy",

PIERS-2017 (NTU, Singapore), IEEE Explore (2017)

Kaustubh Sinha, Kala Bharathan, Ashraya nayaka T E, Noha Ahmed

A novel bio-medical product which delivers effective diagnosis of Retinopathy of Prematurity in premature babies and reducing the stress on elderly patients accompanied by a cost reduction factor of 40x. Retinal imaging for premature babies did not exist before this device and doctors had to rely on visual memory.

literature projects

"Report on Molecular Electronics and nano-fabrication methods"
Working and fabrication aspects of Single Molecular Switches. These devices operate at the molecular level and do not have traditional fabrication methodologies but a rather experimentally tested and verified means of manipulating extant molecules rendering them into a state for achieving desirable operations such as electronic switching.

Research Seminar on:
"An Acoustic Technique for Communication among Nanorobots for Nanomedicine Applications"
Assessing which technique: Chemical, Electric, Molecular or Acoustic is best for communication among Nanorobots delivering medicament through the Blood-Brain Barrier and the best algorithm for maximizing time efficiency and cancer cell termination.

Review Paper on: presentation link (related - QD/ QDSCs for PVs + QCLs)
"Quantum Electronics: Current Developments and trends for Future Applications"
A discussion on the present technologies in Quantum Electronics involving: Quantum Dots with applications in Computing, QC Lasers, Solar Energy etc.; Quantum Cascade Lasers with applications in THz generation at room temperature, spectroscopy and high energy applications; Surface Plasmon Resonance and Guided Mode Resonance in detecting analyte molecules in an immersed solution through photon spectroscopy for biomedical and chemical applications.
